These terms apply when you use Deploy.et. By creating an account, you agree to them.

The service
Deploy.et provides app hosting, virtual private servers and object storage, billed in Ethiopian birr. Plans and features may change, but a change never alters the price of a subscription you already have until you change plan yourself.
Your account
Give accurate details and keep your password and SSH keys safe — you’re responsible for activity under your account. You must be 18 or older, or have the permission of a parent or guardian.
Prices and billing
Prices are in ETB and include VAT. Subscriptions renew monthly or yearly, as chosen when you order. Renewal invoices are issued 3 days before the renewal date. A service starts, and renews, once your transfer has been verified against our statement.
Plan changes
Upgrades take effect immediately, and the difference is invoiced for the rest of the current period. Downgrades take effect at your next renewal.
Late payment
If an invoice is still unpaid 5 days after its due date, the service is suspended. It resumes as soon as the invoice is paid.
Cancellation
You can cancel any service in the app. Servers are removed at the end of their current billing period. App hosting keeps your apps running for 7 days after cancelling, then removes them. Storage keeps your files available for 7 days after cancelling, then deletes them. Payments already made aren’t refunded, except where the law requires it.
Acceptable use
Don’t use Deploy.et for anything illegal in Ethiopia or where your service is hosted; to send spam or phishing; to attack, scan or overload other systems; to host malware; or to mine cryptocurrency. Don’t try to get around resource limits or reach other customers’ resources. We may suspend services that break these rules — usually after contacting you, unless the harm is ongoing.
Your content and backups
What you deploy stays yours. You’re responsible for backing it up: servers and storage don’t include automatic backups, and data removed after cancellation can’t be recovered.
Availability
We work to keep services running but can’t guarantee they’ll never be interrupted. Where possible, we announce planned maintenance in advance.
Referrals
A referral counts once the person you invited verifies their email and holds an active paid app plan. Referral benefits last only while enough of your referrals stay active, and can be withdrawn for abuse such as referring yourself.
Liability
The service is provided as is. As far as the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 3 months before it arose, and we aren’t liable for indirect losses such as lost profit or lost data.
Changes to these terms
We’ll give notice in the app or by email before a material change takes effect. Continuing to use the service afterwards means you accept the change.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.
