Deploy.etPrivacy policy
This policy explains what Deploy.et collects, why, and what you can do about it. It covers the app, this website and the API.

What we collect
Account details you give us: your name and email address, and optionally your company name and phone number. What you create: apps with their repository addresses and environment variables, servers, SSH public keys and storage. Billing records: orders, invoices and the payment details you submit — the bank or wallet used, the transaction reference, the amount and the date. Sign-in data: the IP address and device type of each session.
How we use it
To run the services you order, bill for them and verify your payments; to send account emails such as verification, password resets, invoices and service notices; to keep your account secure and investigate abuse; and to help you when you contact us. We don’t sell your data or use it for advertising.
Payments
You pay by bank or mobile-wallet transfer outside the app. We never ask for or store card numbers or banking passwords — only the transaction details you submit so we can match your transfer.
Where your data is stored
Your account data and the resources you run are hosted on servers operated by us and by our infrastructure providers, some of them outside Ethiopia, including in the European Union. If you sign in with Google, GitHub or Apple, that provider shares your name and email address with us — Apple may share a private relay address instead of your real one.
Who we share it with
Service providers that help us operate — hosting, email delivery and sign-in — only as far as that purpose needs. Authorities, when Ethiopian law requires it. We don’t otherwise share your information.
Security
Environment variables are encrypted at rest and decrypted only when your app starts. Passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text. Servers are accessed with SSH keys, not passwords. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data, we’ll tell you promptly.
How long we keep it
A deleted app is removed with its environment variables. Cancelled servers are removed at the end of their billing period; apps are removed 7 days after their plan is cancelled, and stored files 7 days after storage is cancelled. Invoices and payment records are kept for as long as tax law requires, including after an account is closed.
Your choices
You can view and update your profile in the app and sign out other devices. You can ask us for a copy of your data, or close your account — see the account deletion page for how that works.
